Milgard Windows and Doors, a proud part of MITER Brands, is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician III to join our team in the Denver, CO area. In this role, you’ll travel to customer sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain our high-quality window and door products. You’ll be the face of Milgard, ensuring every service call is completed with professionalism, precision, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. MITER Brands, which includes Milgard, MI Windows & Doors, and PGT Innovations, is a leader in the window and door manufacturing industry, known for high-quality vinyl windows and patio doors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Diagnose and repair Milgard window and door products at customer homes and job sites
Communicate directly and courteously with customers and co-workers Assist senior technicians with installations, repairs, and part replacements
Pick up and deliver parts; maintain inventory in service vehicles and warehouse
Clean installed products and ensure job sites are returned to original condition
Safely operate hand and power tools
Use iPads and service software to document service calls and review schedules
Collaborate with other Field Service Technicians on multi-tech projects
Inspect incoming parts for quality; reject and document any that don’t meet standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment — both in the field and warehouse
Keep service vehicles clean, stocked, and in good working condition
Assist with unloading delivery trucks and general warehouse upkeep
Submit closing service documentation promptly to the Field Service Office
Window and door service/install experience required, including:
Qualifications 2+ years of direct customer service experience
High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge of safe use of hand and power tools
Valid Class D Driver’s License with a clean driving record (per PGT’s safe driving policy)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic English language skills; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Ability to perform basic math and read a tape measure
Comfortable using computers, email, and mobile devices for documentation and training
Familiarity with Microsoft products such as Outlook and Windows
