Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, providing insights into financial performance and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure proper cost tracking and project profitability analysis.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Utilize Sage accounting software to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and generate reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting practices and principles.
- Proficient in Sage accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Payroll, Taxes, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and more.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
