Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order slips or scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials to protect items during shipping.
- Label packages correctly for shipment, ensuring all necessary information is included.
- Verify order details to ensure accuracy and prevent shipping errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to the overall success of the logistics team through diligent work and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Must be able to handle frequent lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear PPE consistently.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
