Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order slips.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate hand-held scanning devices to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to the overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking and packing is a plus.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Comfortable using scanning equipment and basic computer systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be willing to wear designated PPE.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
