Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic Order Picker to become a vital part of our warehouse operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial for maintaining our order fulfillment timeline and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work with a variety of products, using order lists and scanning equipment to locate and pick items. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent attention to detail, and has a strong work ethic. Safety is paramount in our warehouse, and adherence to all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. This is a hands-on role within the logistics industry that offers a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team. You'll be on your feet for much of your shift, so physical stamina is important.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from designated locations based on order tickets or scanner.
• Verify product information and quantities before picking.
• Package picked items securely for transport.
• Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment with care.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines.
• Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Ensure all required PPE is worn correctly throughout the shift.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Involves significant standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret order documents.
• Strong sense of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
• Experience with logistics or supply chain operations is a plus.
