Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control within the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Develop, implement, and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Manage stock rotation (e.g., FIFO) and ensure proper handling and storage to prevent damage.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and propose process improvements.
- Collaborate with receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping teams to ensure seamless inventory flow.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant inventory storage area, adhering to all regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Prepare reports on inventory levels, accuracy, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record in inventory control or a similar warehouse management role.
- Expertise in inventory management principles and proficiency with WMS software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
