Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and facilities.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Properly use and maintain tools and equipment.
- Operate equipment safely during testing and repair.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while performing duties.
- Assist in training other staff on basic equipment operation and safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics equipment.
- Familiarity with safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in the use of PPE and safety equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
