Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, automated systems).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all safety guards and systems are in place and functional.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Work with the logistics team to schedule maintenance to minimize operational impact.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including lockout/tagout procedures.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
- Assist in the installation or modification of warehouse equipment.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards or equipment failures.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement in the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with industrial equipment maintenance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification preferred.
