Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order lists or using scanning devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items carefully into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the mandated use of PPE .
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and carts.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing targets, supporting overall logistics efficiency.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment requiring constant movement.
