Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics management, a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, and exceptional leadership skills. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to all safety regulations. Promoting a safe working environment is paramount, and you will ensure all team members are trained on and utilize necessary PPE. This role requires strategic planning, problem-solving, and the ability to motivate and develop your team. Significant lifting and material handling are part of the operational scope. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Manage, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure productivity and performance.
  • Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE and safe handling practices.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
  • Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and upkeep.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
  • Commitment to fostering a strong safety culture, including adherence to PPE requirements.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required by the role.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Logistics or related field a plus.
