Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming merchandise.
- Sort and place items on shelves or in designated storage areas.
- Pick items from shelves according to order lists.
- Pack items securely for shipping, ensuring accuracy.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Follow all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and record-keeping.
- Understand and implement Lifting best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and tools.
- Understanding of inventory management principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the use of PPE.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Knowledge of basic logistics operations is an advantage.
