Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking and packing orders.
- Verify order details against shipping manifests and customer orders.
- Apply correct shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Schedule pickups with carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS, freight).
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Operate shipping equipment such as scales and scanners.
- Ensure the shipping area is clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use of appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer applications.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of logistics and shipping regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
