Responsibilities:
- Generate and verify shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, LTL) to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Confirm accuracy of shipment contents against orders and manifests.
- Inspect outgoing packages for proper packaging and labeling.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Communicate with internal departments (e.g., sales, warehouse) regarding shipment status and issues.
- Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies or damages.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the logistics department.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk, logistics coordinator, or similar role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and common carrier platforms.
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
