Job Summary:
We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily operations at our facility in Detroit, Michigan. This key role is central to our logistics and supply chain management, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and Safety in all warehouse activities. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory levels, overseeing shipping and receiving processes, and leading a team of warehouse associates. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and a proven track record in improving operational efficiency. We are committed to fostering a safe working environment and expect all team members to adhere to stringent Safety protocols, including proper use of PPE. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
  • Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
  • Ensure efficient space utilization and organization of the warehouse.
  • Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures.
  • Train and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with Safety standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed and ensure regular maintenance.
  • Manage and resolve daily operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports.
  • Ensure all staff consistently use required PPE.
  • Oversee tasks that may involve significant Lifting, ensuring safe practices.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar logistics role.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and inventory management principles.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to manage a team and motivate performance.
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment operation.
