Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Oversee the efficient picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Train and manage warehouse staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational costs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and supervision.
- Strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and relevant software.
- Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and experience implementing safety programs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring the use of PPE.
