Job Summary:
Join our thriving logistics team in Salt Lake City, Utah as a Forklift Operator! We are seeking experienced professionals to ensure the efficient and safe handling of materials within our distribution center. Your primary responsibilities will involve operating various types of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory, as well as loading and unloading trucks. A commitment to Safety and precision is essential in this role. You will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the seamless flow of goods. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move palletized goods and materials.
  • Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
  • Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any defects.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  • Strictly adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Support other logistics functions as needed.
  • Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of heavy items.
  • Follow all procedures for material handling and movement.

Qualifications:
  • Certified Forklift Operator with proven experience.
  • Proficiency operating sit-down, stand-up, and potentially reach forklifts.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent Lifting and physical exertion.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of basic logistics and inventory control.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
