Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move palletized goods and materials.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any defects.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support other logistics functions as needed.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of heavy items.
- Follow all procedures for material handling and movement.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with proven experience.
- Proficiency operating sit-down, stand-up, and potentially reach forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent Lifting and physical exertion.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory control.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
