Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming shipments.
- Verify inventory against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickup and delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Ensure the warehouse is organized and clean, facilitating efficient operations.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely as needed.
- Assist in managing stock levels and reporting inventory needs.
- Practice safe lifting and material handling techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and general computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of logistics processes and safety standards.
- Must be willing to wear and properly use designated PPE.
