Responsibilities:
- Assist with the unloading and receiving of incoming shipments.
- Sort, stock, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, following strict safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, including aisles and common areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Report any safety hazards or operational issues to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is a plus.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team player mentality with good communication skills.
