Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders using scanning equipment.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Prepare shipments for outbound transportation, ensuring all labels are correct.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and support overall logistics functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Experience with lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics principles.
