Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dynamic team in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse operations, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a safe and efficient work environment. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring that all logistics are executed seamlessly. This role requires excellent organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes to ensure accuracy.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as needed.
• Monitor productivity and performance metrics, implementing improvements where necessary.
• Ensure all team members are properly equipped with and utilize appropriate PPE.
• Responsible for the safe handling and movement of goods, including significant Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in logistics and warehouse operations.
• Ability to perform heavy Lifting as required.
• Familiarity with PPE requirements.
