Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Plan and coordinate shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Implement and enforce strict Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates on best practices and operational standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Liaise with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on warehouse performance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Thorough understanding of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Experience with logistics and transportation management.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
- Ability to stand and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and wearing required PPE.
