Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers accurately.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage locations.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper handling and scanning.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Participate in general warehouse duties as needed.
- Support shipping and receiving functions as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Strong knowledge of forklift operation and material handling techniques.
