Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our Boston, Massachusetts team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring the integrity of our stockroom. Your primary focus will be on minimizing discrepancies, identifying causes of stock variances, and implementing corrective actions. This position requires a thorough understanding of inventory management principles and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure seamless product flow and accurate data entry. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is essential, including proper storage of materials and adherence to Safety protocols. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Responsibilities include performing regular audits of inventory, investigating discrepancies, and reconciling stock levels. You may be involved in managing returns and damaged goods. A key aspect of this role involves adhering to all company policies regarding the handling of materials, including the correct use of PPE . While not requiring constant heavy Lifting , occasional lifting may be necessary. This role is critical to our Logistics operations and requires a proactive and analytical approach to inventory challenges.
