Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas, ensuring timely delivery.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts, reporting any issues.
- Organize and store materials in appropriate locations, following inventory procedures.
- Assist with receiving and shipping operations as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient and Safe operations.
- Identify and report any potential hazards or safety concerns.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient logistics.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
