Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent and energetic Order Picker to join our busy logistics facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their correct orders in a timely manner. Your main duties will involve accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order lists and preparing them for the packing and shipping departments. This role requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and efficiency. You will be navigating the warehouse using handheld scanners or order sheets, so familiarity with such tools is a plus. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, and all team members are required to wear appropriate PPE at all times. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, as is the capacity to handle moderate physical exertion, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using order lists or handheld scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to a supervisor.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.
