Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Identify and report any damaged goods, equipment issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Capable of frequent lifting up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and inventory control procedures.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all established guidelines.
- Willingness to learn and operate different warehouse machinery.
