Material Handler

Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our busy logistics hub in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials throughout our facility. Your tasks will include receiving, stocking, transporting, and preparing materials for distribution. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, physically capable, and possess a strong commitment to Safety and operational excellence. Adherence to all Safety regulations and the proper use of PPE is mandatory.
Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials.
• Transport materials to and from designated areas using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Stock received goods accurately in assigned locations.
• Pick and stage materials for production or shipment according to schedules.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
• Operate various types of warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring all Safety guidelines are met.
• Wear all required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
• Report any Safety concerns, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to logistics and warehouse operations.
• Participate in ongoing Safety training and team meetings.
• Must be able to perform frequent physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
• Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent manual labor, including Lifting.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Commitment to adhering to all Safety regulations and wearing required PPE.
