Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outgoing shipments accurately.
- Verify order details against shipped items, ensuring accuracy.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation, including bills of lading.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain organized shipping logs and update tracking information.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding shipment status and any issues.
- Ensure all packages are properly packaged, sealed, and labeled according to carrier and company guidelines.
- Uphold all company Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required, which may involve some moderate Lifting.
- Understand the principles of efficient logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or a related administrative role is advantageous.
- Proficiency with computers and shipping software.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capable of performing tasks involving occasional moderate Lifting.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
