Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick designated items from warehouse inventory based on order specifications.
- Use scanning technology or pick lists to identify and retrieve products.
- Ensure the correct quantity and item type are selected for each order.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated staging area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company Safety policies and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during picking.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability for moderate Lifting (up to 40 pounds).
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
