Forklift Operator

Job Summary:
Our dynamic logistics company in Sacramento, California is looking for certified Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. This critical role ensures the smooth flow of goods within our distribution center and supports the overall logistics operations.
Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) to move, stack, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working order.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
• Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles and loading docks are clear.
• Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
• Participate in other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include some Lifting.

Candidates must possess a valid forklift operator certification and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience. A strong commitment to safety, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Knowledge of warehouse procedures and logistics is a plus.
