We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our expanding logistics operation in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be central to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately selected from inventory and meticulously prepared for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using handheld scanners or pick lists, retrieving items from assigned warehouse locations.
- Inspect items for any defects or damage before proceeding with packing.
- Select appropriate packing materials to ensure the safe transit of goods.
- Pack orders with care and efficiency, meeting established productivity standards.
- Apply shipping labels and other required documentation to packages.
- Stage completed orders for outbound shipment and assist with loading as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all logistics and safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock organization.
- Follow all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order status and any issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of up to 45 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the necessity of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting and manage time efficiently.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
