Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Carefully pack items for shipment, ensuring they are protected from damage.
- Select appropriate packing materials for different types of products.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Operate hand trucks or other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and packing area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any damaged items or discrepancies to a supervisor.
- Perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and order fulfillment goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics.
