Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Transport materials and products to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory accurately and securely.
- Conduct daily pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE , including a hard hat and safety vest, as required.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including some Lifting .
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to forklift operation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
