Distribution Center Associate

Job Summary:
Our New York City distribution center is hiring a dependable Distribution Center Associate. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our facility, encompassing tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be an integral part of our Logistics network, ensuring that goods move smoothly and accurately. A strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices, including the use of PPE, is essential.
Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
• Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
• Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
• Support Logistics team in achieving operational efficiency.
• Perform frequent Lifting and moving of boxes and packages up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks, including moderate Lifting throughout the shift.
• Willingness to adhere to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
