Adelphi is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive school-based physical therapy services for students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) at a school in Danville, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions, conduct evaluations, develop IEP-aligned therapy goals, and collaborate with school staff to support the physical development and functional independence of deaf and hard-of-hearing students across grades Pre-K through 12.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience providing Physical Therapy services in a school setting to multiple age levels (Preferred)
  • Must pass required background checks in accordance with KRS 160.380 Responsibilities
  • Provide Physical Therapy services as mandated in each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP)
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine eligibility, need, and extent of services
  • Develop IEP-aligned therapy goals, service recommendations, and treatment plans
  • Produce and submit quarterly progress reports for student records
  • Maintain timely written evaluation reports within 30 days of referral
  • Deliver therapy sessions on campus for students across Pre-K through 12th grade
  • Maintain accurate student documentation, treatment logs, and reports in accordance with KDE expectations
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with KSD staff, including teachers, interpreters, and supervisors
  • Provide information and participation in ARC meetings for assigned students
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful therapy environment for deaf and hard-of-hearing learners
  • Follow all relevant regulations, including KDE Terms on Data Security, FERPA, and nondiscrimination policies
  • Any other duties as assigned.
