Adelphi is seeking Occupational Therapists (OT) for a school facility in Southeast Missouri. The ideal candidate will have experience providing occupational therapy services to students aged 521 with moderate to severe disabilities.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a program accredited by ACOTE or another AOTA-recognized body.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school-based setting working with students who have disabilities.
  • Active Missouri Occupational Therapist license issued by the Missouri Division of Professional Registration.
  • Ability to pass all required state background checks (Family Care Safety Registry and FBI fingerprint).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to students ages 521 with varying levels of disability within classroom and school environments.
  • Implement therapy through an integrated, educational approach, supporting IEP goals and student participation.
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with all school and state documentation standards.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and collaborative planning.
  • Work with teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care and learning.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and educational regulations.
  • All services must comply with state licensure requirements, FERPA confidentiality standards, and applicable school district policies.
