Position Overview A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations at its Indianapolis facility. This role is responsible for driving safe, efficient, and high-quality production while leading and developing production teams in a fast-paced environment. The Production Manager will partner closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer demand, improve processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage day-to-day production operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are met Supervise, coach, and develop production supervisors and hourly team members Plan and coordinate production schedules to align with customer requirements and business objectives Track and analyze key performance indicators including safety, quality, scrap, downtime, and throughput Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and waste elimination Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management efforts within production Participate in process improvement, equipment upgrades, and capital planning initiatives

Qualifications Proven experience as a Production Manager or senior Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment Background in automotive, plastics, injection molding, or component manufacturing strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams on the production floor Experience with production planning, scheduling, and performance metrics Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
