Washington, DC Company Overview: We are currently partnered with a leading investment management firm based in the DMV area, seeking an VP of Investor Relations to join their fast growing team. The firm focuses on a diverse range of industries and this role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, contribute to capital raising efforts, and support strategic growth initiatives across the portfolio. Responsibilities: Oversee the creation of RFPs, DDQs, investor reporting packages, and promotional materials for existing and potential investors. Create and update investor presentations, quarterly reports, and fund performance summaries. Guarantee quick delivery of communications to investors, including notices for capital calls and distributions. Support investor prospecting and relationship management for existing and new limited partners (LPs). Coordinate due diligence processes during fundraising cycles and secondary transactions. Organize and execute investor meetings, annual general meetings (AGMs), and roadshows. Monitor private equity market trends, competitor fundraising activity, and macroeconomic developments to inform investor messaging. Analyze portfolio performance and valuation metrics to provide insights for investor discussions. Collaborate with finance and compliance teams to ensure all investor materials meet regulatory and contractual requirements. Maintain and update CRM systems and investor databases for accurate tracking of investor interactions. Track LP sentiment and prepare reports for senior leadership. Contribute to strategic initiatives to enhance investor engagement and improve fundraising outcomes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred. 5-8 years of experience in investor relations or fundraising within private equity, alternative investments, or asset management. Strong understanding of private equity structures, fund economics, and capital markets. Proficiency in performance attribution and valuation methodologies. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling investor narratives. Professional presence and ability to interact confidently with senior executives and institutional investors. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM systems and financial data platforms (e.g., Preqin, PitchBook, Bloomberg) If you are interested in the
