Our client, a sophisticated real estate investment and operating platform, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting and accounting operations across a growing real estate portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, finance, and asset strategy, partnering closely with investment, asset management, and capital markets teams to deliver high-impact financial insight. Key Responsibilities Own the financial close and reporting process for a multi-entity real estate portfolio, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency Serve as a strategic finance partner to asset management and investments, providing financial insights that support value creation and capital allocation decisions Oversee complex entity structures, including operating companies, holding entities, and joint ventures Lead accounting for acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, and capital events, including purchase accounting and deal‑related analyses Review and interpret operating results, cash flow trends, and variance analyses to inform portfolio performance discussions Partner with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, and long‑range planning initiatives Manage external audit and tax relationships, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality deliverables Enhance internal controls, streamline processes, and implement scalable systems as the platform grows Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a high-performance, finance-minded culture Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Master's degree preferred 3–6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in Real Estate or Public Accounting Public accounting and/or real estate industry experience preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills CPA or CPA-track a plus Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Accounting/Auditing, Finance, and Administrative #J-18808-Ljbffr
