Requirements
Active RN license in a practicing state required.
PACU, post-anesthesia, or perioperative experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred.
Responsibilities
Post-Anesthesia Monitoring:
Monitor vital signs, airway, and patient status post‑op.
Administer medications, pain management, and interventions.
Critical Response:
Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
Escalate potential complications immediately.
Documentation & Teamwork:
Document patient care accurately in the chart.
Educate patients on post‑procedure and discharge care.
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
