Key Responsibilities
Business development:
Lead marketing efforts, develop strategy, identify prospects, prepare proposals, present to clients, budget and contract for new opportunities. Accountable for new business objectives and overall project performance.
Project management:
Engage with clients, support market business plan, client engagement strategies and leverage technical resources to expand Black & Veatch’s footprint.
Project execution:
Oversee engineering managers, set performance goals, manage budgets, invoicing and payments, lead performance reviews.
Staff management:
Mentor staff, recommend training and promotion, identify and develop new team members.
Preferred Qualifications
20+ years of active water/wastewater experience in the industrial sector.
Professional Engineering License; Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
Deep understanding of budgets and financial metrics.
Contract negotiation skills – knowledge of terms, risks, pricing and payment terms.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
