Seeking a 3-5 years' associate attorney with courtroom experience for an AV-rated defense firm in Houston with commercial and business litigation practice areas. Ideal candidate experienced in contract disputes, arbitration, handling commercial cases in state and federal courts throughout Texas. This role emphasizes commercial litigation, discovery, motion practice through mediation and trials; requires ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties And Requirements
Draft pleadings, prepare discovery, briefing, legal research, attend depositions. Conduct mediations, administrative hearings, make court appearances. Experience in evidentiary hearings, leading temporary injunction and restraining order hearings (a plus). Starting annual base compensation DOE $130K-$150K, solid bonus structure, full suite benefits, 401K. Daily in-office role. Actively interviewing now.
