Responsibilities Worldwide Revenue Accounting
Oversee global revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606, including multiple performance obligations, variable consideration, rebates, credits, rights of return, and distributor arrangements.
Review customer contracts and amendments in partnership with Sales and Legal to assess accounting implications.
Ensure accurate revenue cut‑off, deferred revenue, and contract asset/liability accounting across regions.
Maintain revenue recognition policies, procedures, and supporting documentation.
Support quarterly and annual close processes, including revenue‑related disclosures for SEC filings.
Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Inventory Accounting & Gross Margins
Oversee worldwide cost accounting activities, including wafer fabrication, assembly and test, foundry costs, logistics, royalties, and manufacturing overhead.
Ensure accurate standard costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting.
Review and support inventory valuation, excess and obsolete (E&O) reserves, and lower‑of‑cost‑or‑net‑realizable‑value (LCNRV) assessments.
Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to understand cost drivers and improve forecast accuracy.
Global Close & Reporting Support
Lead revenue and cost components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses for company‑wide spending across all departments.
Directly support Singapore cost team during month‑to‑month, quarter‑to‑quarter, and year‑to‑year close.
Provide revenue and cost data and analysis to FP&A for forecasting and budgeting.
Support external audits and internal SOX controls related to revenue and inventory.
System Management
Lead worldwide Oracle instance and other related business information systems.
Ensure completion of various IT projects to ensure accurate data capture and recording of information supporting operations and cost responsibilities.
Team Leadership
Manage and mentor a team of revenue and cost accounting professionals based in the US and Singapore.
Establish clear goals, training, and development plans to support a high‑performing team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
8–12 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with deep experience in ASC 606 revenue recognition and inventory/COGS accounting
Hands‑on experience using and maintaining Oracle
Experience supporting a global close process in a public company in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry
Proven ability to partner cross‑functionally and manage complex accounting issues
Key Competencies
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
Significant Oracle experience with inventory and standard cost
Ability to manage complexity across regions and functions
Detail‑oriented with strong judgment and problem‑solving abilities
Effective communicator with executive‑level presence
Ability to lead, develop, and scale global teams
Compensation & Benefits
Annual base pay range: $158,595 – $229,046
