Tax Senior/Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior/Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, overseeing tax preparation and review processes, and ensuring compliance with various tax regulations. This position offers an opportunity to work with a variety of clients while contributing to the growth and success of our firm.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and providing strategic tax planning advice.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws while identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies.
Mentor and train junior staff on tax preparation and best practices in the public accounting field.
Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations to provide clients with timely and accurate guidance.
Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree in Taxation preferred.
Active CPA license required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and review in a public accounting environment.
Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
