Hotel Maintenance Engineer Homewood Suites by Hilton Brookline, MA
Location: 111 Boylston St, Brookline, MA.
Salary: $22 - $25 per hour.
Join our team as a Maintenance Engineer at Homewood Suites. We are looking for a dedicated maintenance engineer to keep our property in top‑notch condition.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest suites, meeting spaces, the restaurant, swimming pool and common areas.
Conduct repairs on mechanical systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
Handle electrical repairs and maintenance tasks.
Address plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs.
Maintain and repair kitchen equipment to ensure it operates efficiently.
Perform maintenance and repairs on laundry equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance on heating/air conditioning (HVAC) ventilation to avoid breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Requirements
One‑year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with electrical and mechanical systems required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Experience with hotel building maintenance or Certification in Building Maintenance preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from groups of managers, coworkers, vendors and customers.
Availability on weekends and holidays.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Able to bend, stoop, walk and climb ladders.
