Overview

Account Executive, Commercial Lines at Risk Strategies Company. The primary role is responsibility for placement and client management on an assigned book of business, as well as guiding the Service team. If responsible for house accounts, the role includes business development and retention for the house book of business. The AE handles a more complex book of business based on industry specialty, account revenue size and/or coverage complexity (e.g., loss sensitive programs, large deductibles, captives or shared and layered programs). They will implement placement strategy for the client using the market consolidation initiative, negotiate the best terms and conditions, and make decisions on markets to approach and place coverage. The AE must actively direct the assigned team to meet client outcomes, support E&O mitigation, and sustain the service model. Location: Chicago, IL. Employment type: Full-time. Seniority level: Mid-Senior level. Pay range: $84,200 - $125,000 annually. Your Impact

Responsible for overall service, placement, and business development management on an assigned book of business Accountable for business development and retention for assigned house accounts Renewal strategy including markets to approach, claims reviews, gap analysis, coverage specifications, and analyzing exposure information Marketing, negotiation, writing executive summaries, reviewing proposals, and facilitating binding of new business and renewal coverage following the client direction Debrief of proposal presentations to clients Day to Day Client Service

Review client contracts as necessary Review and communicate with carriers on material changes to the coverage program Understand and communicate the client’s service expectations Serve as escalation point for clients or RSC teams in the event of issues New Business

Cross-selling and account rounding on assigned book of house business Assist Producers on prospective opportunities Participation in written and oral RFP presentations Carrier & Wholesaler Relationships

Align Risk Strategies with partner carriers and intermediaries so renewals are placed with ideal markets Implement the market consolidation initiative, leveraging RSC buying power to secure best terms and conditions for clients Successful Candidates Will Have

Insurance licenses as required by the Company 7+ years of experience in a Property & Casualty brokerage environment Deep technical knowledge of Property & Casualty business Deep technical knowledge of loss sensitive, alternative risk transfer, and self-insured retentions programs Risk Strategies description and recognition statements, industry awards, and commitment to ESG provided for context.
