Market-Opening Veteran – Green Bay / Fox Valley, WI
Overview
This commercial bank has built a strong reputation for relationship driven banking, disciplined credit culture, and empowering experienced lenders. As part of its continued expansion across Wisconsin, the bank is planning to establish a Loan Production Office in the Green Bay and Fox Valley market and is seeking a senior commercial lender to lead that effort.
The bank places a strong emphasis on C&I lending, long term client relationships, and incentive structures that reward sustained portfolio growth rather than short term transactions.
Position Summary This is a market opening opportunity for a seasoned commercial lender who knows the Green Bay and Fox Valley market and has the credibility, relationships, and experience to establish and grow a new geography with minimal handholding.
The right individual will serve as the face of the bank locally, building a high quality commercial portfolio while helping expand the bank’s Wisconsin footprint.
Experience Requirements
10 to 15 plus years of commercial banking experience within the local Green Bay or Fox Valley market
Proven ability to operate independently and open a new market
Experience working closely with credit and leadership teams in a relationship focused environment
Book of Business
Demonstrated history of managing a $100MM plus commercial loan portfolio
Portfolio ideally composed of 70 percent or more C&I lending
Some CRE exposure acceptable, but primary focus remains C&I
Credit & Technical Skillset
Formally credit trained
Strong understanding of deal structuring, underwriting, and risk management
Ability to manage the full lending lifecycle from origination through portfolio management
Market Presence & Relationships
Well connected and highly trusted within the Green Bay and Fox Valley business community
Established relationships with business owners and key centers of influence including CPAs, attorneys, and other referral partners
Strong reputation as a relationship banker rather than a transactional lender
Role Responsibilities
Open and lead the Loan Production Office in the Green Bay market
Source, structure, and close new C&I focused commercial relationships
Manage and grow an existing and newly developed loan portfolio
Serve as the bank’s primary representative in the local market
Build long term client relationships that align with the bank’s credit and cultural philosophy
