Head of Subservicing Oversight – Truist The Head of Subservicing Oversight will monitor and manage third‑party mortgage subservicers to optimize performance and ensure compliance with regulatory, investor, and agency guidelines. Responsibilities: Vendor Management: Serve as primary point of contact and oversee performance of subservicers to ensure contractual obligations and performance standards are met. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics through dashboards and scorecards to evaluate service delivery and operational efficiency. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and deliver detailed reports to senior management on performance, risk, and compliance issues. Compliance and Risk: Monitor subservicers and internal testing to ensure compliance with State, Federal, Investor, and Agency guidelines. Process Improvement: Identify improvement areas and develop strategies to enhance service workflows and customer experience. Delinquency and Default Management: Oversee default‑related activities managed by the subservicer, such as collections, loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and foreclosure. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or breaches of service level agreements or guidelines identified through monitoring and audits. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience. 15+ years of mortgage servicing experience, including responsible risk management and strategic decision‑making, and ability to manage complex projects and initiatives. Minimum of 5 years of mortgage default experience. Minimum of 5 years of mortgage subservicing experience. Preferred Qualifications: Excellent leadership, consulting, and communication skills, including the ability to lead direct and indirect reports and influence all levels within the organization. Excellent negotiation skills, highly collaborative planning ability, diplomacy, tact, judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Ability to think critically and strategically and drive change; capability of successfully managing multiple projects concurrently. Strong quantitative, governance, and analytical abilities. Ability to solve complex problems and bring structure through ambiguity. Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to provide effective challenge to senior management and cross‑functional leadership. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office technologies (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio). Position can also be in Greenville, SC.
