ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop NAND memory trim, pushing the performance and reliability envelope of flash memory used in best‑in‑class high‑density storage applications.
Work in partnership with NAND design and system development teams to drive technology and product development for improved performance and reliability.
Define, develop and execute NAND flash memory performance and reliability tests; analyze and report data to cross‑functional teams to drive product and process improvements.
Communicate and work with members from process, design, reliability, and system groups to ensure timely product device support, memory qualification, and ramp of volume production.
Serve as part of a team that sits at the hub of activities between storage business units, technology development, and manufacturing.
Qualifications
M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Material Science, or a related field, and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
In‑depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics, familiarity with advanced semiconductor processes, and knowledge in design of experiment and data analysis.
Skills
Strong analytical skills; preferably experience with scripting languages and/or statistical analysis tools.
Proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
Self‑motivated, self‑directed, and able to work well with people within and outside the team.
Strong coding skills for data processing and automation (Python preferred).
Proven ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
Experience using ML/AI for data analysis and modeling is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits Details
An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and performance.
The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting and may be modified in the future.
You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk’s Short‑Term Incentive Plan and possibly the Long‑Term Incentive program, subject to eligibility.
We offer a comprehensive package including paid vacation, sick leave, medical/dental/vision insurance, and other benefits such as an employee stock purchase plan and 401(k).
