Overview This hybrid role is part of our Digital Nexus technology organization and focuses on keeping MuleSoft platforms operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities

Serve as the subject‑matter expert for MuleSoft, overseeing daily operations and health; work with specialists to resolve complex integration issues.

Manage and prioritize production support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders; perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures to maintain system stability.

Diagnose and resolve complex configuration, production, and deployment problems; use monitoring and logging tools (e.g., MuleSoft Monitoring, queues) to identify and address performance bottlenecks.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including business analysts, developers, and project managers—to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions; communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Design, develop, and deploy MuleSoft APIs, integrations, and batch processes using Anypoint Studio, Anypoint API Manager, and CloudHub.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of recent experience in enterprise integration and practical experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; MuleSoft Certified Developer (Mule 4) is an added value.

Extensive experience designing and implementing MuleSoft solutions, including API‑led connectivity, RESTful/SOAP APIs, and DataWeave; proficiency with Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, DataWeave, Mule 4.x runtime, API governance, and OAuth 2.0 security policies.

Solid understanding of integration patterns, protocols (HTTP/s, JMS, JDBC), and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV); working knowledge of CI/CD concepts (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), DevOps practices, and cloud platforms.

Ability to independently triage and resolve complex technical issues without constant supervision and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor U.S. work visas for this opportunity.
